The Condition of Donggala Bridge after 9 Months of the Earthquake and Tsunami Events

The earthquake and tsunami devastated the city of Donggala and Palu on September 28, 2018. One of the affected areas was the bridge of Gonenggati, Banawa Subdistrict, Donggala.

In the past, along the coast of the bridge of Gonenggati, there were a number of small cafes that sell various kinds of food and beverages typical of Sulawesi for the residents of Donggala and those who are on their way to Palu or back from Palu. After the earthquake and tsunami, the seller was moved to the front of the donggala axis road. The donggala government has prepared several stands for them.

The coastline of the bridge of gonenggati has been severely damaged. The coastline is one of the people's favorite places to take cool and historic photos. But now it can only be a happy memory.

It's nice to be here again even though it's in a very different condition. Hopefully everyone will recover soon.

Semoga semua segera pulih kembali.
